The Indian Himalaya offer a vast choice of climbing peaks. There are more than 70 peaks available in the Garhwal Himalayas, namely: Shivling, Kedarnath, Thelay Sagar, Meru Parbat etc. Zanskar and Ladakh have more than 20 peaks including the famous twin peaks of Nun and Kun, which are technical and difficult. The easy trekking peaks of Stok Kangri, Parcha Kangri and Gulap Kangri lie in the Leh valley.
